Orange Box is a collection of 6 games from Valve software. It includes: Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Counter Strike: Source, Portal and Team Fortress 2. All this for Rs. 1000/- in India. This is the most value for money gaming pack I have come across. Each of these games have excellent game play.
Half Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2:
These are first person shooters based off on the famous Half Life franchisee where you play Gordon Freeman combating aliens and evil freedom-hating combine soldiers. The selling point of the games are advanced physics (ability to interact with almost any visible object in the game world) and the puzzles that need to be solved to make progress.
Portal:
If you like puzzles and first person shooters, then you will love portal. Portal is a 3D game wherein you play an experimental subject in science facility. Your goal is to cross each level and find the exit door by manipulating the environment around you. This is easily the best game I have played this year besides Call of Duty 4. The puzzles are challenging and make you think and feel intelligent every time you cross a level.  If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you can get a free demo of portal from here.
Team Fortress 2:
This game is the latest craze in the multiplayer world and is a class based multiplayer game that is a lot of fun. You get to choose characters that have specific weapons for themselves besides a common pool of weapons.
Counter Strike - Source
Sequel to the highly addictive Counter Strike and continuing on the same game play as the original, Counter Strike excels at providing realistic Terrorists Vs Counter-terrorists action with weapons belonging to special fighting forces from different parts of the world.
You can find Orange box at Landmark, Crosswords, Odessey or any game store worthy of its name.
