Newtons Third law of Motion states that "Every Action has an Equal and Opposite Reaction"

So what was reaction last time when you touched a coffee table or a window or a wall? Nothing much I am guessing, it just stood there, no reaction.

So here is something to think about. You are sick of the way the coffee table looks, your drawing room is a drab, you are missing your friends and moping about how terrible the world is. Bring out your camera and place it on the table. The table will automatically detect the camera, extract all your pictures and arrange neatly on the table. So you can sink yourself in the nostalgia.

This is not something from AI or Gattaca or Minority Reports, this is reality, and Microsoft made it possible. No I don't think Microsoft is turning into a hardware company, its just trying its hand in new things(which I feel is a great idea).

This is a multi touch computing devices. It is efficient when it comes to maps images etc. It uses a series of (I read somewhere that its 5) cameras that emit infrared emission which help manipulate the devices on the surface. A camera can be recognized that is placed on the surface. Hold on you require a wireless devices, but still its really cool, imagine no more wires!

This is primarily going to be sold for a B2B consumer and not for an average Joe, but in the future with surface computing, millions of possibilities open up.

I was going through other sites on the web and found that many believe that this technology was inspired from Apple Knowledge Navigator. It is amazing! I don't want to take the credit away from Microsoft but what Apple computers had achieved in 1987 is being reverse engineered for the common people. Would love to hear your thoughts on this! Here is a youtube video from the past.

Back to the surface, here as usual is the video of surface to awe you all.

And here are a few words from Bill Gates.....
