Through the Earth and Beyond.

Jules Verne wrote about a story in which men travel millions of miles to the center of the Earth. The professor and his nephew start their journey from a Volcano in Iceland and travel across to the Earth to Italy. They overcome several hurdles such as prehistoric animals, natural hazards etc. From Scientific standpoint the story doesn't hold good. Now we know that if anyone ventured to the centre of the world, they would get burnt like toast, not a very nice way to die. But here is another Nonsensical Brilliance post which shows us where we will surface if we started at a point and went straight down into the depths of the earth. STRAIGHT is the key word here.

I tried to start at Southern Italy and tried to follow Jules' path, but landed up in the middle of Pacific ocean. I must've lost my way. Try the map, see where it leads you.....
