Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you "look ahead," before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.

Now you can give Walt Disney a run for his money. I stumbled upon this amazing website, befunky.com and it allows you to convert your pictures to cartoon. Now, how cool is that?!
I loved how simple this tool is to use. They have an amazing set of videos to understand how the tool works just in case you don't know how to use it by following their simple instructions. I loved the really "funky" eyes rolling logo which really made me smile every time the site took some time to upload the image.
I don't use social networking sites much but I know from what friends tell me that its cool to have avatars. This site allows you to create your virtual self and give it some attitude.
My friend allowed me to use his picture to experiment. His first picture is the real photograph taken in bad light. I played around with his picture on the site a little and converted my "guy-next-door" friend to a gangsta brother with da bling. Love the transformation!

I like taking pictures and displaying them. There are quite a few sites online that allow people to upload their pictures and display them in a variety of different ways. One of them that I reviewed sometime back is Photobucket. While I love Photobucket, I really loved working on Slide.
Vish doesn't like sites where sign up is required, but I do. After the initial trouble of signing up we are brought to an easy to use screen. Slide works much faster than Photobucket when it comes to uploading images.
I used Slide to send some friends a few pictures from my visit to Dublin and they said that it loaded quickly on their systems. I loved the quick replies I got from them and it was amazing how viral the use of this tool.
This can be easily added to any social networking site and have your pictures slide. They have also come up with some neat applications like funPix where you can add backgrounds, glitter, tag lines etc, another cool application is the youtube frames or as slide calls it SkinFlix. Love it!

I was watching Prison Break, one of my favorite serials (after I watched Shawshank Redemption, prison movies and serials intrigue me). In the very first episode Michael Scoffield's room mate tells him welcome new fish. I liked that term new fish reminded me of how unbelievably peaceful they make you feel. I like aquariums. The thought of bringing the peace of the sea on land.
Recently Google released iGoogle, a new look to your search page. This page allows you to add all the Google Gadgets to the page. Apart from that I've also seen plenty of ads being displayed. I guess Google found another way to make money off the ads.
I like one of the gadgets a lot, its a box that has little gold fish in it. Everytime I get tired of work or of the monotony. I sit down and look at the moving fish. The Lava lamp is pretty good too, but there is no interaction. You can feed the fish by clicking on the box and all the fish come running.
Once they eat the food, there are small rings in the water. It looks so nice. Here is a sample. The image is my iGoogle. Check out the cool Lava lamp and the fish. You can find the ads there too!

Wondering why I used this title? Well all your doubts will be cleared as you read the post. Google has come up with amazing gadgets you can use for your website. There are about 2730 odd gadgets to choose from. They have been divided into several categories like finance, communication, tools, news, fun and games etc.
Using these on your site is really easy. Search for the gadget you require on your blog either by going through the various topics or by using the search bar on top and then just click on add to your website, you will be lead to a page where you can customize it according to your blog, depending on the nature of the tool and then you just click on get the code and voila, you gadget is ready to be added to your blog.

This cool tool will help you locate any songs lyrics that you want. How will it be useful you ask, imagine you are listening to Pandora and you come across a song that you really like. Simply type the name of the song and artist and you have the lyrics right there infront of you.

If you are not that great with colors or colorblind, you can use this next tool to pimp up your blog.
And for those still wondering what the title means, here is the hint - Weightloss. It doesn't get easier than this. This tool is awesome and can be customized to your individual height and weight and if you excercise or not and will tell you how many calories you need to sustain.
Well I like the gadgets, I don't know why Google hasn't provided a better way to customize it according to your site. There are so many options to choose from and each one is slightly different than the other. It's very easy to use, 3 steps and then you have a gadget on your site. I haven't faced any issues with these gadgets on my other sites. All in all a good experience but I still can't get over the lack of customization options.

This tool will help you see how many people visited your site and from where. Clustrmaps.com gives you a variety of options. The map below is an example of how the map looks. You will see clusters in various regions around the world from where your site has been visited.
This is free. It is a great tool if you'd like to know where your visitors come from. For those who like to play around with colours and like the customization, its not that great.
I personally think this is a great tool for your blog, simply because it allows you to see where most of your traffic is coming from. This will also help you to upload useful information.
This easy to install online clock can be added to your side bar to tell you and your visitors the time. This clock has an HTML script that can be easily installed in your blog. You can modify the size of the clock by changing the height and the width numbers. You can add this to your site from clicking on

The advantage of this software is that it can be customized as per your blog. The give you an option to enter the Hex value so that it blends in with your site. You can also have a world clock on your site with variation in time. One clock can show India time while the other site can show the US. Each clock is labeled with its respective city name.
Although a useful tool, due to its default size it looks quite ugly especially if its not placed correctly on the site. The key locations on the blog where you can place this tool is in your sidebar or at the bottom left corner of the site. Don't put this right on the top of your content, it can look quite tacky. Please don't use extremely bright colours. It can get quite annoying watching a Pink or Orange or Yellow clock ticking away while you are trying to browse through the content.

You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures.
Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.
Photobucket is not restricted to Photographs, I have seen many video streaming online. A good tool to add to your blog if you like images. You can customize it as per your needs. There is also a cool mouse-over option to label your images/photographs.
